Our 43rd Annual Spring Meet was held in Collinsville, Illinois, right across the river from St. Louis at the Hilton Doubletree Inn. Our Meet host, Ed Lanfer, did a magnificent job with planning, preparing and overseeing the meet. The events were well planned and coordinated, and everything took place like clockwork. Even the weather cooperated which we understand was not under the direct control of Ed, but then again, maybe he saw to that also. All the activities were within short drives to each other and the instructions were very clear.

The DoubleTree Inn provided the perfect setting for all the events which took place at the host hotel. We had our own sectioned off parking area for the 300s, the hospitality and banquet rooms were centrally located, and the buffet breakfast was really something to look forward to in the morning. Personally prepared eggs of one's choice, freshly baked muffins and a good selection of fresh fruit simply could not be beat. Most delicious coffee one could ever get.
