The Daze Of Wine and Letters
Work In Process, Preliminary

The Chrysler 300 Club International invites you to attend our 48th annual spring meet May 14 through 18 in Rohnert Park, California. Save the dates as Sam Cohen hosts a return 300 meet in the Golden State's wine country. You will want to be there.......highlights will be wine tours of course, but also an annual reunion of American Graffiti Days with thousands of cars gathering to remember and relive our days of youthness. Sam has a car collection of high caliber and will share it with us at a barbecue at his ranch near the meet town of Rohnert Park in Sonoma County.

Sam is hosting with the assistance of Larry Jett. You can contact Sam at 510-482-4420x222, email: scohen@energy-solution.com or contact Larry at 510-794-7911, email: LarryWJett@gmail.com. We have an interesting selection of events and activities planned (see below).

Our Host Hotel is the DoubleTree by Hilton Sonoma Wine Country located at One DoubleTree Drive, Rohnert Park, CA 94928. Phone 1-707-584-5466 or click here for the web address. Rohnert Park is located 50 miles north of San Francisco. Nearby attractions include Napa and Sonoma wine country, gorgeous Marin and Sonoma County coastlines and great back country roads. It is a one hour drive to San Francisco. Yosemite Valley is about 4.5 hours away. Rohnert Park is just north of Sam's hometown in Petaluma. Petaluma has a historic downtown with restaurants, antique stores and outlet stores nearby. It is also a car crazy town and Club members may want to attend the annual American Graffiti car gathering.

Come enjoy Sonoma County with more than 425 wineries, miles of rugged Pacific coastline and towering redwood forests. Sonoma County is a visitor's dream spot, representing the best of Northern California. For those planning a longer stay and venturing a little further afield, consider adding a weekend in San Francisco, a trip to Yosemite or the coastal village of Mendocino. If you have even one more day, visit world famous Napa County wineries, Bodega Bay for fish and chips from the local fishing fleet, pristine Tomales Bay with fresh oysters or Pt Reyes National Seashore with miles of beaches. The meet will be held Monday May 14 - Friday May 18, 2018 with the main events on Tuesday through Thursday. No guarantees but weather in May is usually in the 70s and sunny with the landscape still green.

Closest major airports: Oakland and San Francisco. Santa Rosa has an even closer airport but is a small airport with limited flights to other cities. Sonoma County Airport Express will transport arrivals at San Francisco or Oakland airports for $34 each way.
