Welcome to the pictorial report of the Spring 2008 Meet of the Chrysler 300 Club International. Our Spring Meet was hosted by Carlton and Barb Schroeder and was held in the beautiful northwoods country of Eagle River, Wisconsin. The Eagle River Inn was the official meet hotel and the accommodations and banquet could not have been better. The staff was cordial and helpful in every way. This added immensely to our enjoyment of the meet.

The attendees began to arrive on Wednesday, June 28, and most headed to the Hospitality Room for their meet packets and to just meet with long time friends whom they had not seen over the long winter. Of course, new friends were made throughout the meet. On Thursday, The Eagle River Snowmobile Hall of Fame and Race Track were the featured activities. In the evening, Carlton and Barb opened their home to the group for a cookout. And what a cookout it was. They obviously prepared for weeks to get everything just right. The food was ample and delicious.

Friday began with the Club Business meeting. Then we departed for Rhinelander for a Wisconsin River Cruise and pizza lunch. Following this the group visited a logging museum.

Saturday featured the car show at the hotel with people's choice judging. The banquet was held at the hotel and featured a wonderful buffet including prime rib at the carving table. People's Choice awards were handed out following dessert.

Sunday is always a bittersweet time at a Chrysler 300 meet. It is time to remember all the good times had at the meet and also the time to depart until the next one.
