1955 300 Trunk
Open trunk reveals rectangular piece of 30# roofing felt which I installed.
It is slightly smaller than the original pad for easier insertion.
Slightly open trunk shows light not illuminated and you can see some of the socket. Also visible is the head of the screw that anchors the light and switch assembly to the trunk panel.
When opened a little higher the trunk light comes on as the
mercury switch completes the ground circuit
Spare wheel properly anchored
Jack hardware is laid out on trunk carpet
Wheel chocks from Harbor Freight.
Something a '55 should NEVER be without.
I stow the chocks ahead of the inner rear fender and the trunk/rear seat panel.
The ropes make it easy to retrieve them from that storage location.
